Spaces

Spaces are used for detailed mapping of a facility — floors, rooms, restrooms, storage rooms, mechanical rooms, etc. Each space belongs to one facility.

Note

Spaces may be required or optional depending on your organization settings. If required, you must create at least one space before adding assets.

Accessing Spaces

To view a facility's spaces:

1. Go to Facilities
2. Click on a facility
3. You will see the spaces list on the facility page

Creating a Space

1. Click Add Space
2. Fill in the details:

Field	Description
Name	Space name (e.g. "Sales Floor", "1st Floor Storage")
Space Type	Space category (e.g. office, restroom, mechanical room)
Description	Free text with additional information

3. Click Save

Hierarchy

The structure follows this hierarchy:

Facility → Space → Asset

Each space can contain multiple assets. Each asset belongs to exactly one space.
